Description The project is located 40 km southeast of the Vienna (Austria).
8 GE 1.5 sl turbines have been connect to the grid in December 2004.
The wind farm "Parndorf 2" is a joint project of the Austrian green power company "oekostrom AG", the German Planet energy GmbH (a 100% subsidiary of the green power utility Greepeace energy eG) and Stadtwerke Hartberg.
The wind farm generates enough energy to supply 8.300 Austrian households with electricity and saves approx 15,500 tons CO2 annually.
